When I was a teenager I used to laugh at my mum with how she would be so obsessed with how the home looked and buying new stuff for different rooms. Unfortunately, I seem to have inherited this trait and now most of my disposable income goes on buying homeware and things to make my flat feel more like home. In the summer the SO and I will be looking at new places for us to build a home together so the homeware haul has been put on hold for the moment.
So, instead of buying things I'm dreaming and collecting inspiration for what 'our home' will be like. I would absolutely LOVE to have somewhere that I can fit a desk in (even if it's a tiny desk). My job is pretty flexible and allows me to work from home/do overtime and having somewhere nice to sit would make it all so much easier. I have the room in my current space but never wanted to commit to it, as it's just another thing to move. But this time I've got my fingers crossed that it's for a good few years and I'll be putting down roots for the first time since moving out of my parents' house.
