This weekend has been a lazy one, which is fairly unusual for us as we like to make the most of the time we have together. However, a lot of this weekend has been spent watching sport and eating home cooked dinners, which I can't really complain too much about.
One exciting thing was that my tickets arrived for Sheffield Comic Con. I can't wait as we're going with my sister and her other half. It's the first time we've done kind of grown up stuff together with our partners and it should be great. I feel it's my responsibility to show them both how brilliant Sheffield is as it is the place I consider my home on a number of levels. I'm trying to think of where will be the best place to eat while we are out and about on Saturday but the options seem lacking now I'm used to living in the centre of Leeds, which seems to be THE place to eat and drink at the moment. Thanks to living in Leeds, I haven't spent a lot of time in Sheffield since I was a student as I'm usually just passing through to meet people or go somewhere else. However, I am genuinely excited about the thought of using a tram (sad, I know). If anyone has any suggestions about nice places to eat in Sheffield, beyond the normal chains, I would love to hear your suggestions.
Over the weekend I've also fallen in love with this Good Things face mask. It smells amazing. I've only used it once but it makes me skin smell lovely and it's super soft after. I'm going to keep using it and I've also picked up the Good Things scrub too, which I should be using this week (I refuse to use new stuff until the old one is finished). The scent of these products is out of this world as I'm sure all you beauty bloggers know already!
We're thinking of heading of to see Sin City, which will probably include some sort of eating too. We'll try and stay as close to healthy as possible but we have been SO good over the past few weeks and a Bank Holiday deserves at least a small treat.
I hope you are all having a lovely Bank Holiday weekend. What have you been up to?
