I always have some kind of fondness of animals that most other people seem to hate, (apart from spiders and rats but I blame Harry Potter for the most part) but foxes have a special place in my heart. I just think they are the most beautiful creatures ever and they are part of British culture. I understand how people can be annoyed by them if they kill your livestock or whatever but we're on their patch not the other way around, and I don't understand how anyone could hurt them. And yes, I would love it if there were foxes at the bottom of my garden.
I'm a massive advocate for equality and personally can never understand why people hate a certain group of people because of who they are or what they look like. Anyway, some bright spark decided to tweet JK Rowling about Dumbledore being gay, and for some reason he wanted to share his opinion with her. Although she doesn't often tweet, the talented and completely awesome author decided to make an exception in this case, and it's completely brilliant.
My dad is one of my favourite people in the world and I think the relationship between a dad and daughter is a particularly weird and incredibly awesome one. Here, Bret Spears writes for the Huffington Post about all the things that changed when he had a baby girl that he never expected. It's a brilliantly honest, funny and touching piece.
I'm a massive Hunger Games fan, but I was pretty late to the party, in fact the first film had been released and was on DVD before I picked up the first book. I've been slow to get onto the latest literature crazes since Twilight, but once I'd read the first few pages I was hooked. So you can imagine how excited I am about the next film coming out in a couple of months, and these pictures of the posters did nothing to calm that.
I have a pretty unhealthy relationship with Harry Potter, as previously explained and I feel literally proud that the key actors in the series have grown up into such rounded people. I'm also pretty strongly opinionated about slut shaming and the culture of women bringing other women down to feel better about themselves. Please don't do it. Please. THIS link is everything.
