I'm sad to say that I think summer may be over. The weather forecast is saying that, thanks to hurricane Bertha, that colder winds will be gracing us this weekend, meaning it's firmly back to leggings and jumpers for me.
I love autumn. It's my favourite season of the year - not yet cold enough to hurt my hands or cheeks but just enough to be able to layer up and wear boots. Autumn conjures up the smell of bonfires and hot chocolate and hot dogs and cosy nights and piping hot stews.
It also means that I can start thinking about building up this year's autumn/winter wardrobe and get rid of all the stuff I'm not going to wear again (I have a phobia of becoming a massive hoarder so for everything I buy clothes-wise I throw something out). As I get a little more mature, I'm trying to buy more quality items rather than mass buying cheaper items and when I fall in love with something just go ahead and buy it - even if it means being careful with the budget the rest of the month.

Are you excited for autumn? Or just sad that summer may be drawing to a close too soon?
